About the collective

Creatives Exchange Artist Collective is a group of professional women artists, working in multiple disciplines.  Our mission is to support the artistic and creative intents of the participating artists and engage with the community, individually and as a group.

History

Creatives Exchange Artist Collective was founded by Jenny Carey in 2013 in Tampa, Florida.  The group was formed after her work with the Arts Council of Hillsborough County showed the power of a group for individual artists. The making of artwork can take place in solitary for many disciplines. A collective of like-minded artists provides a space and open community to support their interests.

Artists participating in the collective work in a number of different practices, including video, photography, painting, sculpture, jewelry, glass, pottery, writing, curating, choreography and creative production.

Creatives Exchange artists enjoy collaborating within the group and the community. We support other like-minded artists who pursue their craft. Together we share a copious number of awards and years of artistic expertise. The majority of our members reside in Tampa.

Current Members include: Jenny Carey, Kimberli Burns Cummings, Melissa Fair, Eileen Goldenberg, Brenda Gregory, Lucy Griggs, Cynthia Hennessy, Candace Knapp, Kim Radatz, Debra Radke, Rose Rosen, Suzanne Williamson.
